I have a large collection of music within Album player that consists of over 5,500.00 albums. I have always felt that if the bugs could be worked out that this software would be the best out there for having a home jukebox. It's been awhile since 6.0c has been out and I am still having the program crashes due to having such a large library and AP loading the album art until it runs out of memory. I am hopeful that there is more development to this software as again, I believe it can be the best. Is there any development or has it run it's course? I do not care about the free updates. I would gladly pay for updates if it meant moving this forward. Anyone else???

Tonight I'm wondering if I will roll back to 5.3e because the lack or maybe even worst, the end of updates for 6.0...

I love AlbumPlayer, I don't care about iTunes, Spotify, etc.

... not sure why you are having so many problems.
Personally I reverted to version 5.3E that allows using all existing skins and also because I encountered many problems with the new version 6.
My library is twice as big as yours (10.700 albums + images, containing 154.500 tracks in total) and the system never crashes.
My system is running with a very basic and cheap Toshiba computer only for this purpose under windows 8.1. and a touchscreen.
Maybe you should consider reverting to version 5.3€ like I did myself ?
This will perhaps help solve your problem.
It worked like a charm for me.
