Hello,

I'm a really satisfied customer of "AlbumPlayer" :D

I have written a simple tool for documentation purpose.
It extract album player data from "albums.mdb" in a plain text file.
This file can be imported in any spreadsheet or dBase application to...give free play to one's imagination! :D

Features (version 1.2):

* Extract data from "Albums.mdb" in a text file readable with every spreadsheet or dBase application.
* Every record can contain the following fields separated by the TAB character: CollectionName, ArtistName, AlbumTitle, ReleaseDate, Composer, Conductor, Orchestra, Language, Genre, Styles, Tones, Comment, UserAlbumID, UserArchiveID, Rating, ReplayGain, PeakValue, Cover.
* It is possible to select which fields are inserted in output record.
* Extraction methods:
1) "As is in the database": extract every album "as is" without any type of sorting.
2) "Via custom collections": extract albums ordered as they appear in custom collections.

It's a free software and if someone is interested, this is the link:

Ciao!

Simone

Need to say this is nifty!

I've noticed though that this operation costs a lot of time when having a rather large database (30+MB). The program even hanged for a while.

Another issue is that it starts with Collection. However I didn't see my own collection, only Recently Added and Last Played.

Ciao,

it's time for a new version of this software with some updates:
1) I've reduced the number of the exported fields
2) Application store the user settings

Program is here:

Hi,

your add-on is very usefull but...

Version 1.2 works fine

Version 21 isn't complete and needs two DLL to play :

borlndmm.dll : easy to find
cc32110mt.dll : more difficult

with these DLL, it works but is no more a portable application so perhaps a new 2.2 version in the future ?

Thanks
