Hi,

Your'e always welcome to ask me any questions if you run into trouble
See my previous messages for howto and help

Latest Albumplayer will run, it's runs slow in Wine 1.2 but it's fast in Bordeaux for Wine
Bordeaux also has the advantage of working well with pulse audio, with Wine 1.2 you have to remove it in order to get any sound from AlbumPlayer

There are some issues, like video not working with the latest Albumplayer.
I have not tested it with the latest version of wine, but will do so asap

Greetings and good luck
and let me know how you're going..

New version of Crossover is out now,
It works perfectly with Albumplayer (except for video)
Another major step forward..

See under tips & tricks how to proceed.

Added the new Albumplayer version (5.3) in the wine database

see: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.p ... &iId=25673

It's working fine with some limits, no video support and equalizer due to crashes with directx9

Tested with wine 1,4/Ubuntu 10.04 LTS :)

From Crossover website

Install the following from the "runtime support components" in a new bottle

"Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC)-2.8 Service Pack 1"
"Microsoft Jet4.0 service pack 8"
"Microsoft XML Parser (MSXML) 6.0 SP1
"Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0"
"Core fonts"
"Microsoft DirectX Runtime modern"

Set 'use native internet browser' as default in the 'advanced tab'

All is working fine except for video, with video codec's installed it kind of runs but out of the placeholder.
