I just thought I would share a picture of my recently finished wall mount jukebox to see what you all thought.

Image

Top screen is a 17inch screen showing album artwork ( CD ART DISPLAY ) and music videos.

Bottom screen is a 17inch touch screen.

It features Bluetooth wireless audio and stands just 80mm from the wall.

Having tried various different pieces of software, I stuck with Album Player, it is by far the best jukebox software out there!

I am always happy to see pictures with AP in action. This is an absolute great jukebox you have.So well integrated. Impressive. For me this pictures are a big motivator to always continue to improve.

Great work!

Is the computer inside or is it external?

What is the total size? It is difficult to see the proportions.

Thanks for the comments.

The computer is internal.

The dimensions for this machine are 446x718x80. It also features a cavity up the back which allows me to hide a fused spur so there are no visible wires.

I have almost finished another machine for a family member which is slightly smaller at 420x580. It has a smaller 15" touch screen and a 10" top screen for album artwork. I personally prefer the larger version but not everyone can house something that big! When it's finished ( hopefully this weekend ) I will post more pictures. I'm actually quite looking forward to seeing the smaller machine finished myself.

I would like to add a visualiser to the top screen, maybe a bouncing graphic equalizer, but im not sure how to go about it. Does anyone have any ideas?

For next version I will work on a visualizer, but focused on Album, Artist and General art. It is meant to run also on a second screen like also the video does.

I don't have this machine anymore to get any pictures. I've almost finished building a slightly smaller version which I'm hoping to have done this weekend. I'll put some more informative pictures of that up as I do it.

Apart from a slightly smalle touch screen and top screen, the machine is identicle.

The case is built and the acrylic has been cut. It just needs assembling now.

Very nice

A couple of questions..

Which PC is it?

Is that the PC power on button on the side of the cabinet?

I have been trying to find a way of having the PC turn on by the main power switch on the wall (actually by a switch activated by the lid lifting up) but it seems the PC is powered up from the motherboard and this is not possible.

Came across these multi touch touchscreens that fit onto any monitor I can see things going this way ,possibilities are intriguing

This Machine is powered by a Samsung nc10 netbook. The button on the side is the power button, I extended the power button points on the motherboard to achieve this.

Very nice setup indeed. Is the AP logo setup as a background?

Some mainboards offer a bios option. It is called "system state after power loss" or "state after AC absent" and it will start the PC automatically after power is applied. I use this for my server.
