Hi, I'm new to this forum, howevere I have being using AP for quite a while and are very happy with the MP.

Until reacently I have been using the ASIO settings in AP, but I'm now testing a virtual soundcard device SW from Dirac in Sweeden, and I would like to access this Dirac sound device using WASAPI interface in Windows from AP. Is there any plans for adding/supporting WASAPI as output mode in Album Player?

According to my information both jRiver and Foobar is supporting WASAPI. Note the Dirac sound device is not supporting Asio4All currently.

By the way, I would recommend every one that are interessting in getting a great sound in an ordinarry living room to take a look on the Dirac SW. http://www.dirac.se/en/consumer-products.aspx

At this moment there is no work on WASAPI, but it does not mean it will not be there someday. But I am working on other subjects at this moment.

WASAPI would be most welcome in AP! The Dirac software is a fantastic new HiFi concept. For example, this system/combination, including XTZ speakers and amplifier plus the Dirac software provide a superb combination with amazing sound quality, without ASIO.
Hope you can give priority to integrating WASAPI in AP!
Thanks!
