I have somehow lost the ability to play Videos. The Audio plays but there is no video window or video playing in the "Drag Album Here to Play" section. I have uninstalled and re-installed Albumplayer v5.3 and K-Lite Standard Codec Pack. Videos play fine in all other programs (VLC, WMP, XBMC).
Thank you for your help.

Did it play before?
What did you change?

You could try modifying settings related to video in Preferences and see if anything affects the problem. And check the settings in your video card driver (I know my ATI card often disables my second monitor without my doing anything at all except leaving it alone).

After a third re-install of AlbumPlayer now they are working! :D
I noticed that only some of my videos were in the database until this final re-install. Videos played fine for about a year prior to the issue. I am not sure what went wrong but it could have been an error during an update. I did get an apparently unrelated error during all three installations...
C:\Program Files (x86)\AlbumPlayer\MiniWindow\AlbumPlayerMiniWindow.exe

An error occurred while trying to replace the existing file:
DeleteFile failed; code 5.
Access is denied.

Click Retry to try again, Ignore to skip this file (not recommended), or Abort to cancel installation.

Thank you for replying.

When AP stops in normal way it also closes AlbumPlayerMiniWindow.exe . It still might run when AP is forced to close. But if you just reinstall then it is ok to skip.

I had similar problems with AlbumPlayer not playing videos recently.

I noticed in the help it mentioned the KLITE codec pack, so I installed that, which happened to uninstall the FFMPEG codec pack I'd installed ages ago.

That appeared to completely fix the Video playback issues in album player.

The great news is that Mala (A game front end that also plays mp4 videos via DirectShow codecs) still works just fine, even with the KLite codecs installed!

Just FYI for anyone else that might have issues with videos.

Now, If AP only read MP4 tags!
